In January 2009 the Sheehan Law Firm, PLLC was established. Its founder, Dennis Sheehan, has over 40 years of experience.
Sheehan is a former partner with Haynes and Boone, LLP where he maintained an extensive litigation practice as a member of the Specialized Litigation Section. In January 2001 Sheehan took up residence on Anguilla, West Indies, where he was admitted to both the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of England & Wales. As a licensed Solicitor and as a Professional Consultant Sheehan became a member of Caribbean Juris Chambers. In the Caribbean Sheehan represents the interest of various international developers and commercial enterprises, as well as various banks, and other local enterprises.
While maintaining his affiliation with Caribbean Juris Chambers, Sheehan formed Sheehan Law Firm to provide legal services in a challenging legal market to clients in Texas and throughout the United States.
Sheehan is a certified Mediator who has over his 40-year career meditated a wide variety of matters. His experience makes Sheehan a resilient facilitator who will skillfully navigate through the complexities of a legal dispute and guide the parties toward varying options for a successful resolution.
In the past several years Sheehan has acted as Guardian Ad Litem, Special Master or as allocation counsel in numerous Mass Tort Settlements involving various pharmaceuticals including Advair, Paxil, Prozac, Risperdal, Topamax and Yaz, as well as transvaginal mesh litigation.
