• Oil & Gas Litigation – Sheehan has assisted producers, service companies and royalty owners in litigation concerning well service agreements, leaseholds,

assignments/farm-outs/drilling agreements, pipelines, blowout wells, and leasehold drainage disputes.

 

• Toxic Tort Litigation – Sheehan has acted as defensive counsel in various toxic tort suits, successfully resolving such favorably for his clients.

• Health Care Fraud Litigation – Sheehan acted on behalf of a national hospital organization in connection with complex health care fraud litigation throughout the United States brought by former patients and/or patients’ families.

 

• Failed Bank Litigation – acting on behalf of various banking institutions, FDIC and RTC Sheehan has litigated various matters for financial institutions, which acquired assets of failed institutions throughout Texas.

 

• Product Liability – Sheehan successfully handled one of the earliest “huffing” cases brought in Texas, representing a national manufacturer of leather cleaning products.

 

• Eminent Domain – Sheehan successfully represented a Texas municipality in litigation over the city’s use of its eminent domain powers to acquire properties for commercial purposes and oil & gas pipeline companies in acquiring lands for pipelines

 

• Home Owners Association Litigation - Sheehan has successfully represented homeowners in disputes with their HOA, one of which he achieved a successful appeal before the Texas Supreme Court

 

• Sexual Harassment Claims – acting on behalf of a large global telecommunications corporation defended and successfully resolved a significant sexual harassment claims

 

• Appellate Matters – Sheehan has handled appeals in the United States Supreme Court, The Texas Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and various Texas Courts of Appeals
